We the People: School honors longtime employee with renaming; One-on-one with country group DEK of Hearts
I got to share a little over 4 minutes of my interview with country-pop trio DEK of Hearts as they made their Grand Ole Opry debut at the end of May. We talked for nearly 40 minutes on their invitation to the circle by one of their closest friends in the music industry, their newest single (at the time) "Dear Ole Whiskey," their upcoming single "Crazy Lady," and life on the road.
KY3, the station I work for, is owned by Gray Media. Gray Media owned stations leading up to America's 250th birthday aired "We The People" stories - essentially highlighting the people that help make our country the best in the world. Emily Pritchard so graciously aired portions of my interview with DEK of Hearts - highlighting the milestones they've hit in just two years as a trio, helping bring to light more of the interview I wish I could've put on the air.
